Lucci the geriatric cat and Reuben the geriatric dog passed one another in the foyer. They did a mutual nose-bump/sniff and kept on walking.
Caroline squealed.
I asked what she was so happy about.
"That was the most romantic thing I have ever seen!"

I just stumbled upon your blog a few days ago and I literally left the window open and read all the way backwards to your first post. Thank you so much, and thank Caroline for all the laughs you guys sent my way! I just finished this morning so now I'm all caught up. Now I'll have to wait and see what the next funny thing little Miss has to say!
You also inspired me to start catching the phrases of my identical twin girls, so I'm now going to start interspersing their toddler quotes in my blog that I've had up and running since they were born in Dec of 07!

And Amanda, do it. For sure. I go back and read these and I've forgotten 90% of them. I still forget to make entries for like 10 each day, but at least I have a few each week of each age. One day I'll print these all out for her (without comments), and she will have a great little journal of herself. Best thing I ever did on a whim!
