Aw, that must have stung. Children and their words...

Sometimes that's how we feel (as a 16 year old 'child' I know it gets stronger). I guess it's the fact that we think we can't do anything. I still don't condone the outward showing of those inward feelings, although they need to be looked into if they grow. Gosh, I sound like a counsellor... Oddly, I give plenty of advice I can't follow. Odd.

We actually laughed. It would've stung had she meant it at all. But it was just a little random outburst when she was told she had to get dressed in the morning. The opppressssiooonnnnn.

And Dimitri, yeah, being 16 is an odd kind of limbo between childhood and adulthood that is hard for kids and parents to figure out. It'll get better.

I am fairly certain that Jordan may share that same feeling right about now. Oh, the horror of having parents haha! These poor 4 year olds have no idea what is awaiting them in their teen years ;)

To comment again...True. I know I have thought that at times, especially being adopted, but unless things have really gone bazerks, then on the inside we don't mean stuff like that. Strangely, as much as I complain about my parents, I get mad at others who say mean/rude stuff about them. It's like I bash them, but I would give my life up for them if I had to. Amen to the above, "These poor 4 year olds have no idea what is awaiting them in their teen years".
